Norsey Road

Landscape planning is the development and application of strategies, policies and plans to create successful environments, in both urban and rural settings, for the benefit of current and future generations (Landscape Institute, 2016).

This site is located on Norsey Road to the southwest of Billericay, Essex. 
The properties that lie on Norsey Road run within a linear settlement and back directly onto Norsey Woods. 

These woods lies to the south eastern boundary of the site. 

Design Brief: The brief is for the demolition of the existing residential property and for the constitution of two 2.5 storey residential properties in place.

The properties will be in-keeping with the local vernacular.
An LVIA (Landscape and Visual Impact Assessment) will determine the Landscape and Visual Impacts of the design brief, and determine whether construction should take place.
